- 2 guajillo chili peppers Any dried pepper can also be used

- Cut dried peppers into chunks.
- Insert dried peppers into a spice grinder. I use a coffee grinder because I don't use it for coffee; it works just as well as more expensive grinders.
- Pulse peppers for 10 seconds at a time. Check the consistency. Continue pulsing until the pepper has been reduced to the consistency you want.
- Use an old spice jar to store the pepper powder.
